chem was stupid, ahma and jaspig and i and michelle yeong and szeling were just sniggering our way through the five min. (the 'test' was held in the avt) question was, describe the tests and observations to prove that an unknown substance is zinc sulphate.
haha. i didnt flip open my textbook or notes over the weekend at all, trust me. so i simply said, add water to the unknown substance, and then add hydrochoric acid. a white precipitate will form. and thats it. i cancelled the first step in the end cos i thought it doesnt make sense to add both water and hydrochoric acid but it turns out that only my first step is correct. hur. and i cancelled it. tsk!
emaths was alright. a couple of careless mistakes, about 3 - 4 marks gone. gotta try to learn how to prevent myself from making so many careless mistakes.

im just waiting patiently for friday to come xD
its gonna be a great day man. first performance in school, and then the crazy afternoon at kbox with ruth and jincie, and hopefully badminton and volleyball after that. and nearing 8 i shall meet up with teresa and we're off to zhanglaoshi's house for bbq xD hohoho.

i'm not a christian, but i read this story which moved me greatly.

one night a man had a dream.
he dreamed that he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
for each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
when the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
ee noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
he also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
this really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
i don't understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied: "my son, my precious child, i love you and i would never leave you. during your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
