back from taiwan. haha. really memorable trip with lots of fun. :) shall post some photos up here to illustrate haha. lazy to describe everything. only posted the more memorable details and stuff. so this is a short entry for a 18day trip haha. will add on more photos as friends upload them so check back again :)

during the 4-day tour with the singaporean tippers

921 earthquake museum haha. the very first place we went to.

the guys taking the drop ride in 九族文化村. then some of us took that ride you see in the 2nd picture.. haha! super fun. its 360 degrees! we took it like 3 times. first time feel like puking. second time fun. third time no kick liao. lols.
and we visited 公主小妹 mansion! and the 溪头 place. yup its like trees and trees and more trees. lol. we climbed all the way up to do the skywalk thing. tiring sia. and then the misc pictures we took together. :)

lessons at xi song senior high school!

first day at school. classroom lessons in the morning, eat bian dang together. haha. their biandang super nice.. you wouldnt believe its homecooked food man. we had regular lessons with them for the first two hours in school. (all their lessons is in CHINESE) then we had special lessons like karate, wushu, canoeing, bead-stringing, snack-making (we made pizza and fenglishu!) chinese painting, chinese calligraphy, geog lessons etc. got more boring lessons and a most beloved teacher haha! everybody at xisong hated her la. even the teachers there knew about her. lol.

and then some of the xisong peeps went taipei 101. we went right up to the 91st floor i think and the view's really fantastic. (: can see the whole of taipei!

and seriously, taiwan's one of the places with real good food. and much of them can be found at jilong night market. really cool. i really feel like eating my favourite beef noodles now.. argh. (first picture) and there's a lot more that i didnt take photos of.. like the bubble milk tea, the tall ice-cream, ji dan gao, etc etc etc

first sunday was VJC outing. went xi men ding to watch movie and sing ktv.. yeah man xD their ktv damn high class! ha. but its so much cheaper over there. and the movie in the morning is seriously an accident.. heard its rated R21 in singapore and M18 there :/ felt so good to see all the vj tippers again :D

more memorable xisong outings

meilihua ferris wheel outing was great. all the xisong tippers turned up! had a lot of fun that day. elaine and i were saying that place is really a romantic place haha! great place for a date :p

danshui is a really nice place. haha. nice scenery and stuff. shant elaborate on the bicycle incident. i think im not gonna ride a bike for a long time again. but really touched by the other tippers' reaction, esp the taiwanese people. :)

and we visited 淡江高中, the place where they filmed SECRET. heh.

my host family!

love them lots. aunty cooks such good food. and she's so cute and caring lol. she packed my luggage for me, i couldnt stuff everything in and she managed to. mum is really mum man. lols. and my dear buddy of cos, for making my time in taiwan so meaningful and fun :) it was really tiring to have to wake up at 5.40am everyday and take a 1-hour trip to school though. lol. really admire my buddy man.. have to do that every single school day.

thanks guys, for all the fun

without you people, taiwan wouldnt be half as meaningful. so glad i made a whole bunch of new friends. the crazy vjtippers, xisong peeps from all the other jcs, and the taiwanese :D really enjoyed my time in taiwan a lot. of cos there were ups and downs but like what yeejek said during the farewell party in xisong, if we were to choose again, i believe everyone would definitely choose to come to taiwan again. 4 hours apart, but the friendship and memories will always remain.
