gone in a flash! there's this sense of emptiness filling up within me. haha. what will jc life be like without harmoc? without going for practices every monday/sat/everyday near concert, without crapping with the potpourri and misc people, without emo-ing when sad things happen, without getting frustrated with concert matters.. without getting stressed over harmoc stuff. without practising grp songs, getting scared over screwed playing. without that feeling of happiness when your friends are just around you. joking and talking and laughing. without poking yanru and making her irritated during practices. without imitating jinci's auto pilot cum stone face when she play piano sometimes. HAHA. without throwing snakes at anthea. without crapping with the many many people who make harmoc such a wonderful cca to be in.

to dearest jinci and yanru, thank you so much for always being there! haha. love you two loads and you know it! i noe we will continue to keep in close contact after cca because our friendship has long gone beyond just harmoc mates, right? jiayou for everything! esp exams and all the many problems bothering us from time to time.

and to the exco!! haha. jinci, chunkiat, liuying, wuyue, willy- love you guys lots. after reading chunkiat's msg i had exactly the same sentiments! maybe to others we may not be the perfect exco, but to me, we ARE the most perfect exco that can ever be! enjoyed everything we did together, whether its the meetings, making fun of CK (HAHA), discussing serious matters, staying back late tog to interview people, practising all that jazz, or going out together to watch movies, or buy stuff.. and how we shared the common dislike for the tie person HAHA. you guys make all the extra effort worth it. think all of us were really stressed out esp during the technical runs for concert. and concert was really great! im sure all of us enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and im really happy to be part of such a wonderful exco. you guys rock totally! :D

to the potpourri people! i really think the grp song is super super nice! creative, colourful (literally! haha), interesting, it's just great! and many of my friends said they liked it a lot! so you guys really did a very good job. haha im happy to your percussionist! yanru and i really enjoyed being part of the song. and really glad to know you people! i think potpourri really added a lot of fun and joy to harmoc. talking and teasing and laughing and crapping.. everything and everything was so enjoyable! haha. potpourri people are loved! go out soon!

lately people! yanru jinci eunice kaili lynn anthea. i think our grp song started off as very screwed but it just became much better somehow! thanks for all the effort and special thanks to anthea kaili and lynn! haha. who make the song so nice. kaili really played very well tonight! haha. i think u practised a lot for us so really wanna say a big THANKYOU to you!! (: anthea with her gumming sessions haha! but the strings which really enhance the song a lot. lynn with her cute tambourine! haha. initially i thought tambourine doesnt go w the song but it turns out nice leh! haha. after lynn tried it. yays! lately people will be MISSED!

to random people like wenjun and cleaven! haha. even though sometimes wj's jokes are really very unfunny, there are rare occasions that i do get amused by you. and your solo was really good la. many people said. haha. told you that we have the best player and the best pianist for that piece. hence it will be good and it was good! :D lol. 'BFFs', 'jiemeis'? HAHA (: and to cleaven who's always practising so hard for harmoc! i think you really put in a lot a lot of effort! its like you joined so late, yet you play as though you joined us right at the start of the year. thanks for being a great friend haha! and listening to my rantings sometimes! (: pearlyn and kaiwan! haha. for helping out so much with the double bass/misc admin stuff!! really appreciate you all! :D

to miss hulilin!! who shouted my name so loud until i was shocked hahah! love you lots and thanks for coming down to support me!! and your very nice ballon and flower and card!! :D :D to the HCI guys yaozhong junbo huanzhi yinghao like i said im really SUPER touched you guys came down cos all of you stay so far! its like i keep asking yaozhong if you all really don mind coming cos its really vvv far and yaozhong simply said its only one night and the concert was absolutely worth coming. thank you so much!! lets go K again soon!! haha :D other people who came - my dearest family! the seniors (: michelle yeong, yuting, gerry, johnnie!! peiting who didnt come down but supported me so much! as well as all the other random people who gave stuff to me! jasmine (hope to see you soon!) huanjek etc. the harmoc people who gave their well wishes and cards and small gifts!! really really enjoyed every inch of the concert! though we were very nervous and stressed i think during the performance itself we all enjoyed ourselves! and that's what performing is all about!
everything seemed so fast, from doing the first grp song tech run where yanru said the day is gg to start, till having the first tech run.. then having lunch tog. going back PT for full run. exchanging all our gifts and cards. last min practising with drums. rushing through dinner and finding it horrible. back to PT. worrying about our music. worrying about the drums. misplaced harmoc and scores. knocking down stuff behind curtains. telling ourselves everything has started. meeting people during intermission. taking photos, talking.. rushing back to perform agn. unable to believe that our last round of songs has started. finishing the songs. watching people give out flowers. playing our encore piece. cheering and shouting like crazy after that. exchanging hugs and congratulating everyone. finding friends, receiving all the lovely flowers and gifts. more photos. more talking. everything just ended so abruptly. it just seems so fast you really wanna replay everything again. it feels as though you havent had enough. cant switch back. all you wana do is to play the instrument again as a band.
stepping down feels so empty. and i really enjoyed being libarian of the cca. printing scores and bringing them to practice everyday may be saikang, but planning repertiore was really really enjoyable. wanna say a big thank you to eunice ho! who helped me so much in choosing the songs and arranging them. same to jinci as well! haha. think its the most perfect job that can be for me and being librarian has made my life in harmoc even more meaningful (:
cant imagine how life wud be like, without harmoc pracs. we stayed back almost everyday to prac for the last two wks, so much so it felt so weird not playing harmoc just for one single day. but everything was worth it, really. if i could i wanna go back and go through all these again.

not the best band, but definitely the best cca to us.
not the most perfect concert, but surely the most enjoyable one ever.
not having the most professional or perfect players, (ok but i think all of you all play very well!! haha) but definitely the best friends we can ever find in the cca.
wish i could say much more to all these people who matter so much.

too much to say. im definitely going to miss vjc harmonica band a lot a lot. memories to keep. for a lifetime!
